Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
This is a process for adults who are considering the possibility of becoming Roman Catholic. This includes the unbaptized, baptized Christians who seek full communion and Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
RCIA is a process, not just a program. It is a community event, a ministry of witness and hospitality, ongoing and multi-dimensional. This process restores the baptismal focus of Lent. It reinstates the Easter Vigil as the honored time for initiation. It is a step by step journey punctuated by corresponding rituals. The Inquiry Period begins in September. The group meets every other week on Sunday mornings from September through Easter. Call the Faith Formation Office for further information or to register. |
