Perpetual Adoration
What is Adoration?
Adoration is a quiet time spent in prayer before Jesus present in the Eucharist. A Consecrated Host is placed in the center of a sacred vessel called a Monstance.

Why do we have Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration?
It is a time to share our needs, hurts, joys and sorrows with Jesus. It is a way to give honor and show our love to Jesus.

Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II were both very dedicated to Eucharistic Adoration. They would spend 2 or 3 hours in the presence of the Eucharist every day. They have told the world that this is where they got their energy to do so much for God and His people.
Why should I go?
To deepen your personal relationship with Jesus and to grow in faith, hope, and love. By spending time in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament you will receive His grace, His love, and His peace. This pleases Jesus very much and is a prayer of faith.

What do I do during my hour?
Your time spent in the Adoration Chapel may be spent any way you want, but quietly and with reverence. You may bring prayer books, use the books in our Adoration library, read the Bible, pray the Rosary, or just sit, relax and enjoy the peace that comes from being in His Presence. Don’t worry about the quality of your prayer; Jesus is always happy that you are there.
To keep the Chapel open 24 hours, we need people, commited to come one hour per week, or to sign up as a substitute. We believe that having this Chapel has brought many blessings to our Parish.

Please contact the Parish office if you are interested. We would love to have you join us.
